Joe Aguirre is a State Farm Insurance Agency owner in Smithtown, NY. He has worked for State Farm in various capacities since 1991. He opened his agency in Smithtown in 1999. Joe started his career as a claim representative in Queens, NY. He then took his talents to the Special Investigative Unit where he focused on combating insurance fraud in partnership with the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Several years later, an opportunity to open his own agency was offered. Joe jumped at the chance to represent State Farm on Long Island. He now loves being a “Good Neighbor” while helping his customers manage their risk, protect their assets and recover from the unexpected.
Joe attended St. John’s University and has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) professional designations. Joe is a supporter of the Larkfield-Northport Little League, the St. James/Smithtown Little League and is a member of the Smithtown Chamber of Commerce and the Knights of Columbus.
Joe and his wife Lynn make their home in Northport and have three children.
